Public History Projects

I am committed to bringing history to wider audiences. I have delivered more than 300 lectures — from Mount Vernon to Versailles, Newport to Yorktown, and local historical societies to institutions such as the American Philosophical Society — and organized international conferences and public programs in Paris and Washington, D.C.

As a historian, researcher, writer, and advisor, I contribute to exhibitions, digital projects, historic sites, cultural organizations, media productions, and public commemorations.
